This page has been put together to help provide resources for emergency assistance.  There is currently no active federal emergency or major disaster declaration for Newton County.  More resources will be added as they become available.

What Flood Victims Should Do First
1.  Take photos and videos of all damage
2. Contact your insurance company immediately
3.  Save all receipts for cleanup, lodging and repairs
4.  Contact Newton County Emergency Management 417-451-4357
5.  Apply for assistance (when county is declared a disaster area)
